I ran into an issue with an order on rifftrax.com and sent a message to support. I got the automatic reply right away, so I figured someone would get back to me soon, but then it was just silence.

I waited over a week and tried reaching out again, but still never got a real answer. Maybe it’s just me, but when something goes wrong with an order, it feels frustrating to be left hanging like that. I like the idea of the site, I just wish the support side felt more dependable.

The downloads came through smoothly, and the files played fine on my laptop. I also liked that everything stayed right in my account, so I didn’t have to go hunting around for them later.
The only thing was one download took a while to actually start, and I kind of felt ignored for a bit because there wasn’t much feedback on what was happening. Could’ve just been my internet, though. Overall, access was simple and the quality was good, so I’d probably use it again.

I was hoping for a lot more. Most of it felt like filler, and the jokes just weren’t really hitting. Not something I’d feel good paying for again

The audio was mostly fine for me — some of the riffs came through clear. But a few of the videos looked a little rough or felt out of sync, which made it kind of distracting. Not terrible overall, just inconsistent. Did anyone else run into the same issue?

I really wanted to get into rifftrax.com, but after browsing around for a bit, the catalog felt limited to me. A lot of the titles started to blend together, and I kept running into stuff I either already knew about or just wasn’t interested in. It kind of felt like when you open a streaming app expecting a ton of options, but then...
For the price, I was hoping for more variety and a better mix of movies. I can see it being fun if their specific style and picks line up with your taste, but for me it got old faster than I expected. Not terrible, just not really worth keeping around.

I really wanted to enjoy the live event, but the sound situation turned it into a full-on drama. It kept cutting out over and over, right when things were getting good, and after a while it was impossible to stay into it. Super frustrating experience

I tried watching a few different movies, but the riff track kept drifting behind the video. Resync would fix it for a few minutes, then it’d be off again. It got frustrating and kind of ruined the whole experience. If this keeps happening, I’ll probably just cancel and find something else

I had a good time browsing through the selection :) There are tons of older, kinda bad-in-a-fun-way movies, plus a few random surprises I didn’t expect. I just wish they had a few more newer titles in the mix!

I gave it a few tries, but the hosts just don’t seem to click for me. The jokes feel like they’re talking at each other instead of actually riffing together, so it never really lands. And when people bring it up, the responses come off like those canned apologies that don’t really address anything. Overall, it’s just not that fun to listen to.

I used to really enjoy the cleverness, but lately the riffs just feel kind of lazy and phoned in. It has that same vibe as emailing customer support and getting some robotic copy-paste response that doesn’t actually address what you said. Not terrible, just nowhere near as sharp or fun as it used to be.

It barely worked most of the time. It kept buffering and stopping here and there, and after a while it just got really annoying. For me, it didn’t really feel worth it.

I do like a lot of the stuff on Rifftrax, but the sales and promo codes can be kind of annoying. I’ll buy a few titles, then the next day there’s an email with a better discount and it’s like... come on. It’s happened enough times now that I feel like I should just never buy anything unless I sit around waiting for some random deal. Which is not really how I want to shop, but...

I’ve been enjoying the stuff they put out, and the quality is good. I just wish new releases came a little more often. It feels fair to expect a bit more fresh content if you’re keeping up with it regularly.

I like the idea behind RiffTrax. I really do. But using the site was kind of a pain. Too much on the pages. Search didn’t help much. I kept trying to figure out which version I needed, where the download info was, all that stuff. Took way longer than it should have. Checkout was confusing too. I wasn’t even fully sure what I was buying at one point. Maybe it’s fine if you already know your way around. For me, first time using it, it was a mess.

I’m a rifftrax fan and I do enjoy the community for the most part. People are usually friendly, sharing jokes, talking about old riffs, and just having fun with it. That said, the activity can feel really hit or miss depending on the movie or event. Sometimes it’s lively, and other times it’s surprisingly quiet. I also found myself expecting clearer instructions or a bit more guidance from the site side, especially around events or ways to join in. Overall, it’s not a bad experience at all, I just wish there was more consistent interaction and direction.
